It is obviously to
be seen that, on your arrival at Bus stand or Railway
station , there are people who may approach you for
Hotels, Dharmasalas, or for the Temple. You are
advised to go with the information you have or
to approach the Govt. Tourist Information Centers or
Traffic Police for correct information.
Here Taxis from authorised Travel Agents or contact
the Tourist office. Before hiring, ascertain fare and
your destination, be confirmed of the name of the
driver and vehicle number, shared autos are available
at main spots like Railway station, Bus stand, near
Jagannath temple and Sea Beach (Swargadwara Areas) for
your movement within the city. Prepaid Auto service is
also available at the Railway Station.
Cycle
rickshaws are available in plenty and the town bus
service is also available in particular routes i.e.
Bus stand, Temple and Beach.
Sea : Don't
jump into sea, for a sea bath, unless you are a very
strong swimmer. Here, the sea is very rough during the
rain. So get the information about the day's
wave speed and go for a sea Bath. Life guards are
available on the Beach for a change of Rs/- 20 to 30/-
for an hour's swimming. So if necessary take their
help.
